Anyway, I was backstage and I'm back there with all these heavy hitters.

Who's the Billy Squire and Edgar Winter and who's the other, the drummer that Ringo uses sometimes.

Anyway, or Hamish, the guy from the people from Men at Work and all these big wig 80s, huge musicians and i'm kind of just i didn't know what to do i'm just god everyone's kind of sitting around eating theater food and chatting amongst themselves and it's backstage it's like and i'm with elizabeth and with another friend of mine who was we just felt really awkward because we didn't really know anybody just knew they were all famous and had seen them on mtv and stuff and all of a sudden Elevator door to the room opens.

And there's Levon.

My heroes were Johnny and Edgar, all the guys like that, George Jones.

I used to look through the peephole in my buddy's house and see Johnny and Edgar going from the house to the rehearsal room, and you'd hear them blasting in the thing.

No kidding.

But they do really well in the area.

From there, he joins the Edgar Winter Group.

Yeah.

And Edgar Winter Group is another one of those bands that I know about, but I have no idea what

they sing.

Well, that was the same for me.

you get your Beatles fix you know you get like you Jeff said you get your Toto fix or whoever is with him your Todd Rundgren fix that was one of the ones I went to also your Edgar Winter fix it's wonderful yeah

I I've seen those guys with him on the different tours Todd Rundgren was such a great surprise me I didn't realize he was with his band at the time and Ron Green is just such a phenomenal musician.

It was really a lot of fun.

Also, I would encourage everybody, if they don't know about it, Edgar Winter.

all those groups, Boston, ELO, and I lean toward Blue Oyster Cult, Deep Purple, Black South, the more heavier, darker stuff at that time.
