The whole point of the set, the original top-down idea is a what-if set, which we haven't done in a minute.

yeah because you are yeah anyway long story short it's clearly a powerful planeswalker and it'll be interesting to see the interesting thing for me is the uh ultimate kind of wants you to have creatures and of course jace makes creatures but also you know fame you know i would say for the most part you put a jace in a deck that isn't playing that many creatures a lot of generally so it's kind of an interesting you know be curious if this ceased uh you know constructed play whether there will be decks that try to take advantage of that go wide or if they're just like yeah the ultimate is not something i'm gonna build around and it might might be an upside but not not that important

So it does go in so many of the most popular decks.

So yeah, a little bit pricey, but it's a card that just, like, I find myself playing more and more and more and more.

And especially when you look at bracket four commanders, you see cards like Edgar Markov, Ur Dragon, Atraxa.

You know what I mean? You see these legends that are like, oh, these are, like, the poster children of Commander.

Like, these are the most generic, powerful cards that you can play.

And I think some players are just like, "Oh, bracket four is just, like, the generic good stuff." Like, "Oh, that's where Edgar Markov players go.

That's where Ur Dragon players go." And it's like, yes, but I think there is still a way to fit unique Commander into bracket four.

It just is harder.

I'm not a huge vampire person.

Like, I played modern, like, FNMs or, like, standard FNMs, you know? But I didn't do a lot of tournaments.

And then that turned into... edgar markov when he got printed i just picked edgar markov up from columbus when we were there yeah um and i always liked playing like the high powered stuff anyways so when edgar was printed and we all knew at least in the casual format like it's busted back then so i was like uh land mana crypt vampire vampire eminence And they're just like, stop.
