Eddie Shore

I watched Brodeur do it in New Jersey, but he was doing it by himself.

Jacques Caron was a goalie coach, legendary goalie coach, by the way, played for Eddie Shore.

You know, you hear those stories about guys that got tied to the crossbar with a rope by Eddie Shore.

Jacques Caron is one of the guys.

Oh,

But he used to tell me, he said, Pierre, he would tie guys to the crossbar with a rope so they wouldn't fall on their knees.

And he said he was tough.

Eddie Shore was really tough.

And on a day, a lot of special guests in here.

The commissioner of the NHL, Gary Bettman, as he always does on opening day, comes by to say hello.

I shock collared her, so she won't bother us again.

What was I saying

before that? Goalie, Eddie Shore.

Oh, goalie.

Old time hockey.

Eddie Shore.

All right, next question.

Oh.

And Presley's nature is that like sticking up for his teammates and not letting anybody take advantage.

So real hockey does happen, but it's not like, you know, Eddie Shore and, you know, slap shot type of stuff.

So it's, it's actually been a really good benefit to a lot of these small town communities to have some level of high level hockey for those youth programs to come and watch.

I started all the fights too.

Old time hockey.

Eddie Shore.

There we go.

It's unbelievable.

on, hold on, hold on, hold on.

Your grandfather's Eddie Shore from the Bruins?

Yeah, that's why I'm the third.

That's how that works, Scott.

It was like this big ceremony we were invited to, and my dad, brother, and I were representing my grandfather.

And no one wanted to go over and talk to Wayne Gretzky.

So I went over there and said, hey, Mr. Gretzky, hey, I'm Eddie Shore.

He's like, oh, I want to thank you.
