Those are the only games that, at St. John's that have drawn more than the 15-6-21 that I set the line at.

The biggest Bethel at St. John's game, maybe not surprisingly, was in 2003 when John Gilardi won his 409th game as a collegiate head coach, passing legendary Eddie Robinson and taking over first place all time in coaching victories.

So you talked about how much your father meant to you, but maybe go into a little more details because you talk about growing up in the Cleveland Browns camp with Frank Ryan and then being around like a grambling legend, Eddie Robinson.

Talk about your father and the imprint he left on your life.

Well, and it might be D2 opponents, but we saw the numbers that Grambling put up, and we'll talk about those in a little bit.

But when you talk about the rebuild, and obviously this program is far removed from Eddie Robinson, one of the true legends in the sport at any level, but Coach Joseph is building his own culture and building his own identity in this program, and It feels sometimes impossible to follow a legend who is not just a legend of a school, but a legend of a game, no matter how many years it's been since that legend last from the sidelines.

But he's built a toughness.

It seems like they're playing very disciplined football compared to years past.

But for the most part, like Mickey is the is the central mouthpiece of this program, as you should be as the head coach and coach.

I think everyone kind of falls in line, just recognizing that he wants to play disciplined.

He wants to be just playing Grand Lee State football, playing in a way that honors the tradition of Eddie Robinson, like you mentioned, and plays with pride.

I think a lot of times in years past, they were bringing a lot of kids from different programs that I don't really think had a true understanding of what Grand Lee State football, what HBCU football is.
