Eddie Hackett

I don't think there was any difficulty with that.

And, um, they brought in Eddie Hackett, the famous golf course, Irish golf course designer.

When he came, he just was, he couldn't get over the piece of land.

He said, "It's already there.

I don't think there's a course anywhere that'll have 27 great holes.

And I'm not saying that as chairman at, or to sell it or anything.

It is an unbelievable, uh, the, the design and the, the Eddie Hackett and Ally McIntosh, who subsequently did some of the, the new nine, their vision was absolutely extraordinary to leave the place as it was and put greens on natural shelves, and create holes that m- I don't think anybody else could create them.

I mean, Eddie Hackett said it was his masterpiece in the end before he died, unfortunately, and he didn't get to do the third nine.
