Um, he...

S- so Steve says, "I'll, I'm gonna take a look around." And he started to walk up the stairs and he, he got five steps up and he said to myself and Alberta Riley, she was one of the other psychics that Ed and Lorraine Warren had invited, he s- he turns around and he says, "There's a room on the second floor, the second door on the right," he says, "and it's filled with mirrors." And he said to me, "I don't know how I know that." Now, I had been in the house before, the week before.

That was the mas- that was the master bedroom.

That was the DeFeo's bed, you know, Louise and Ronald DeFeo Sr.'s bedroom, where they had been shot.

Um, and they were sort of skeptical.

Mm-hmm.

And for a little, there was some contretemps going on between them and Ed Warren.

And Ed basically said, um, to them that, um, those two, that he really didn't want them present because they were challenging the house.

i think i just have no patience for like if you if it's like you're going to tell me the catholics are like the magical heroes like i'm just not going to buy into it you know what i mean it's like oh your little crucifix saved the day okay Well,

and I think what's even funnier is the fact that they included a crucifix because Ed Warren did not include crucifixes.

Really? He would make a cross with his hands and he would scream the words religious resistance.

Oh, my God.

And it seems like everybody was contradicting one another.

and then when he went to ed warren with the problem because he's trying to get this book done he said that like not to worry that the family was crazy and just make the book as scary as you can so this writer was like okay so he came forward and was like look these people are kind of lying i think Now there are other families who lived in the home prior and then after the family that say like, sure, there was occasionally odd noises going on or something, but nothing near the scale as the family has claimed.

Whether it's true or not, it makes for one hell of a story.

Now to this day, hordes of photographers, curious cats, and paranormal enthusiasts flock to the home with the hopes of getting a glimpse of the famous house from hell.

It's, it's like exorcism lite.

Um, and if it was a lower level demon, which I, I mean, I, I've heard you talk about this too, uh, uh, and you, you had referenced something that Ed Warren had said at one time.

Anything over two and a half, three pounds is, is demonic.
