In today's episode, we've got some news from one of the fastest growing young companies developing drugs here in the Philadelphia area.

It's Bria Cell Therapeutics, which has offices and labs in Vancouver and in B Labs at Cirrus Center.

The PABC and its sister organizations, the Hepatitis B Foundation and Bloomberg Institute, are all nonprofit organizations.

Yes, and, uh, this is something I speculated on, on, on Bombers Report when Schnitzy and I did that late Monday night, is, you know, everyone's clamoring for Dorian Singer to be in the lineup this week, uh, after what he did last week, and again, I think that's, that's fair.

Well, Mirix and the acquisition has been a really exciting outcome for us, as you can imagine, you know, not just the headline financial side of things, but in fact, it's a really good example of the power and value and impact we can have as a ventures team within Cancer Research Horizons.

The story goes back to a point where we, as a charity, Cancer Research UK, put significant funding into one of the founders' labs, Ed Tate at Imperial, and clearly helped to build a landscape around which cancer, intellectual property was developed that went into Mirix.

So, you know, CRUK-funded IP was a small part, actually, at the end of the day, in terms of the IP that actually was licensed into the company.

But it was an important part because, you know, CRUK helped contribute to that package.

And the Bombers, in preparation for...

And we did speak yesterday on the show about the BC Lions putting out a statement, taking a bit of a shot at beating the Ottawa Red Blacks.

The Bombers have come out with a statement of their own fanning the flames of this rivalry, saying they tweeted out three years ago, that Regina-style pizza is terrible, and I guess people were very upset about that.
