It just changes the shape of it.

And I think it was 2023 that I really felt this as well, where the Vikings opened up with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and there was that kinda dropped pass by KJ Osborne that turned into a pick, and I think that was Ed Ingram's strip-sack game, where he stripped the ball away on a run play from Kirk Cousins, and then Baker Mayfield somehow held onto the ball for 15 hours straight, and they just, like, grinded the Vikings to death, and they lost the game.

But when you looked at how the schedule was gonna play out, and this is what I think about the greater schedule, is we're kind of looking at it here on almost the eve of them playing football, and you're gonna pick the schedule soon.

It's like, the way this plays out, the beginning of the season is where you have to make some of your hay.

So I think the most important battle is going to be with rookie Keelan Rutledge, you know, just across the front with Evan Brown and, oh man, I'm blanking so hard on his name right now, our right guard.

Ed Ingram.

Ed Ingram, there we go.

It's going to be in the trenches, but specifically in the middle.

Like Owen said, you guys' linebackers are not quite as equipped to stop the run, but if your defensive lineates are offensive line, that won't really matter because there will not be a second-level effort to speak of.

He's a downhill, move bodies out of the gaps, bully those kind of linebackers, climb to the second level.

A player I don't think they really had in years previous.

I was also a big Ed Ingram fan.

Now, I will make one comment about the Texans offensive line.

The one guy that I think is probably going to give us the most difficulty, especially in the run game, is Ed Ingram, their right guard.

Yes, yes.

He just got his contract extended, and with a good reason, because he's solid.

So then it's Rousseau versus Ursula on the other side.

And then we'll see what Deion Walker can do up the middle against Ed Ingram.

And then obviously at Oliver is there too against their center.

It's simple.

And then by the end of it, we get the, from left to right, Ariante Ursary at left tackle.

And now you've got the rookie Keelan Rutledge at left guard, Evan Brown, who they signed in free agency at center, Ed Ingram, who they brought back in free agency at right guard, and Trent Brown, who they also brought back in free agency at right tackle.

And so you get there and you're like, okay, there's the offensive line.

All right, but that's a whole new offensive line.

The former Houston Cougars stud, Ed Oliver, he's healthy for the season opener and he's a mobile load on the inside paired with a 6'7", 200 or 330 pounder.

They're going to challenge the interior of the Texans' offensive line, where Ed Ingram is back, but new starting center, new starting left guard, the supposed vulnerability or at least unit of the biggest questions with the Bills.

Linebackers, so if the Texans can get creases to get David Montgomery to the second level.

When spelling him, Woody Marks, to the second level.

But Kalen Rutledge moving back to guard.

Again, Trent Brown had won that job, brought in Ed Ingram to start at guard as well.

You add David Montgomery in the backfield, who is a little bit more versatile than I think people think.

You look at his stature, and he's kind of like this small, diminutive guy in terms of height, but he's built like a brick shithouse.
