Is that quite a peculiar thing to Britain if we're comparing it to other landscapes around the world?

It's not altogether peculiar.

I would say that our environment has been hammered.

I mean, we're one of the most nature depleted countries on Earth.

And it's partly because we're very densely populated.

And we, you know, we developed the Industrial Revolution.

Everything that wasn't nailed down that could be fed into that machine was.

How did the rest of the team come together here? You know, VFX, when did you all join the project? And then I wanna get into, you started this dialogue and you're having meetings, because for people at home, whether they're students or veteran filmmakers, it's interesting how it comes together, and every project's unique.

So, uh, from VFX perspective, very similar to Jeremy.

I'd been working with, uh, Chris Ferguson on a, on a number of projects.

I got the call, "Have you heard of this project, Backrooms?" I, I hadn't.

I jumped on YouTube.

I saw the, the carpets, I saw the yellow walls, and dove right in.

Um, and it was the, it was the phone call with Kane, and I was so curious about his process, 'cause when I opened up, uh, the, the first YouTube video, I couldn't tell was this, was this all CG, was this live action? Uh, where does, where do the techniques start and end? And I learned about his processes through Blender.

So between the DP and the VFX supervisor, um, how much of the visual language was established in pre-vis, or, uh, how much of it, you know, were you dealing with on, on set, have you?
