yeah yeah i saw him there but those are people i never thought i would interact with as peers and nick and john i worked with a little bit when i was at marvel as well but like it's just a joy to come to know people whose work you respect and get their sensibility and find kind of like your place as a, again, and I hate sounding like I'm name dropping, but like, When I was breaking into comics, a lot of my friends, like Matt Rosenberg, Ed Brisson, Mike Morisi, all of us were trying to break in at the same time.

So we became friends just from going to shows, getting to know each other, seeing who was doing what.

And it's very wholesome that most of the people I know managed to get in there and have very different careers.

And this is the same kid.

So Ed Brisson has that book, The Displaced, right? he did this book the displaced and i think it's with boom and the displaced is about this city because like i live outside of toronto i live east of the city in a in a durham region sort of like a county durham region
