That may seem like an obvious fact, yet we live in a culture that is founded on the repudiation and domination of nature.

Potentially, feminism creates a concrete global community of interests of particularly life-oriented people of the world, women.

Feminist analysis supplies the theory, program, and process without which the radical potential of social ecology remains blunted.
D

"Ecofeminism is a philosophy that takes on not just the domination of the Earth by polluters but domination itself in all its forms: whites over people of color, men over women, adults over children, rich nations over the Third World, humans over animals and nature.

the existence of feminist enmity, intra-feminist enmity over 200 years of Western women's emancipation politics, because I think that's a much better understanding of how to think about the plurality of feminisms than the one that basically is provided all the time, which is that it's like a deck of cards, maybe, or a tree with different branches.

Actually, come to think of it, there's a really funny diagram of the different feminisms in a book by Greta Gard called Ecofeminism, where she has a sort of nice mountain range and a lake and um and then there's a swamp next to the lake where she puts liberal feminism it's like very scathing um but uh you know i don't think any of those images are right i think there's you know class and class antagonism in feminist history and i think there's a better image perhaps the two wolves mean you know there's like it's not just um you know, differences.

It's genuine, you know, hostility, it's genuine enmity, you know, between feminisms of security and feminisms of, you know, collective communized pleasure, you know, those willing to work with pleasure and danger, you know, as the immortal anthology put it right from the sex radicals who are willing to you know fight for the human birthright of universalized eros even as and because they understand that it is so you know so so violent and dangerous out there you know to be a a feminine or feminized subject who wants to be a slut like it's dangerous and and perhaps in a sense inadvisable but instead of reacting to that in the sort of fatalistic pessimistic I would say nationalistic securitizing ways you know that cultural feminists adopted with their wounded, suffering-based definition of femaleness, which leads to a stance from them that views, any kind of carving out of livable, experimental, you know, creative, risk-taking heterotopias in the present as a kind of trivial treachery, right? Like, that's what I mean by feminist machismo and feminist misogyny to a significant extent.
