Eclipse season

um okay so let's talk about then um what's coming up that i said oh the full no new moon is happening soon and it's the last talk about can you tell us about like that in terms of the eclipse it's like the end of the eclipse season right

yes yeah

um

And then we had one full moon eclipse in Pisces.

on the 28th of August.

And so the eclipse season or the eclipse portal that everyone talks about, it's most intense between those two lunations, like the bookends of that new and full moon.

But it really lasts that whole moon cycle.

So yes, improve yourself, but not in order to prove your worth.

Let's tie all of this together by explaining what the heck is eclipse season.

I'm sure you've heard that phrase before, and I'm going to lay it out exactly what it is.

So the lunar nodes have recently shifted from the signs of Pisces and Virgo into Aquarius and Leo, which means we are currently exiting a long cycle of Pisces and Virgo themes.

We are being gifted with these beautiful full moons at the beginning of each zodiac season, which we're riding the wave of the Pisces full moon two weeks prior, Pisces full moon lunar eclipse.

Eclipse into this Virgo new moon, which actually officially closes out eclipse season for us.

So we're going to get into all of that.

We also have a special guest on today's podcast, Ariel Lask, who is a friend of mine, a musician and an astrologer.

So we can think about Virgo through the lens of personal relationship to self interpersonal relationship to another and transpersonal as in a relationship to spirit or the collective and I think this relationship to one another feels important on this Virgo new moon because the ruling planet for this new moon has shifted into Libra Mercury is now in Libra which we'll get into more in a moment But before we do that, this new moon officially closes out eclipse season, and it marks the ending of nearly a two-year period where we had the south node of fate in the sign of Virgo, which means we had the north node of fate in Pisces.

And so there's been this profound time of closure for Virgo, of realignments for Virgo.

Like, time to refresh the wards." And then they go away.

And so this is your reminder that if shit is hitting the fan, yeah, it could be eclipse season, but it also could be a reminder to refresh your protections, because I tend to not think about protection work until things like this happen, and then I just-

Yeah

... all of that.

So yeah, it was just like, it was such an eclipse season experience.

I mean, hey, you know, eclipse season.

When the eclipses come a knocking, things get to a changing.

And, you know, September really feels... distinctly different than August.

And let's remember, I'm sure we do, that August was eclipse season.

It was threshold season.

We moved through the Lionsgate, the Leo solar eclipse, the Pisces lunar eclipse, and really, you know, an extraordinary amount of planetary activity.

So I think there's still something to be unpacked here.

And that's maybe what September is about.

And that's perfect because that's what we're supposed to be doing post-eclipse season.

Anyhow, is making nuanced sense of... our world and, and creating it.
