Eastern Range

The current defense test and evaluation infrastructure in the United States is already heavily subscribed.

White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico, the Eastern Range operating out of Patrick Space Force Base in Florida, the vast military operating areas, or MOAs, stretching across the Mojave and the West Texas Basin, these facilities are running at high tempo.

Adding well-funded new entrants to the test queue creates pressure on a system that is already strained.

That pressure shows up in your pre-flight planning as temporary flight restrictions, or TFRs.
