It's like, you, East San Jose, you're in the ghetto.

I'd had some kind of weird alien encounter.

And, uh, so I started driving, uh, like about a 40, 45-minute drive from, uh, my home in North San Jose all the way to the east side, Eastside San Jose, to the East Ridge Mall.

Because if you remember, there was a book chain called B. Dalton's back, back then.

And so, uh, they had a pretty good section of UFOs and alien abductions.

But going back, I can remember as a child going to my grandparents' house.

And my grandpa literally lived in San Jose, East San Jose, right at the East Foothills, right at the base there on McKee Road.

And I can remember he always had such a wonderful garden.

And we would go to his backyard and he would have fruit trees and he would have tomatoes and he would have fruits.

And they had not been the focus of our model previously in a very direct way, but we ended up really linking arms.

And Julian, we can talk about Julian's evolution through this too, but he stayed on working very deeply with one of our school districts and literally linking arms with a phenomenal district leader in East San Jose.

And you can see the coherence of what was able to happen as a result of that over time.

Do you think the success of converting the model and convincing districts to pay what was essentially a free service for many years is a possible question, but how much would you weigh, like, It was you had an established track record people saw and were familiar and your relationships.

Santa Clara County's public hospital system is expanding emergency room capacity by nearly 60% at Regional Medical Center in San Jose.

RMC is the main emergency health provider for East San Jose, and as of Wednesday, they have 20 new beds.

Emergency Department Nurse Manager Christina Wright says the extra beds will significantly decrease the time patients spend waiting for treatment.

If they're in the waiting room, a lot of times they're out there suffering with pain, and Our treatment team will now be able to give them the proper treatment that they need, the medications that they might need, whether
