Earthquake

I, I hung out with Kenan Thompson from Saturday Night Live, the after party and all that shit.

I played Caroline's on Broadway before it closed, Chocolate Sundaes, uh, Earthquakes, Podca- I've been all over the place, man.

And to be up here and have this kind of recognition from this large of a crowd, it, it's humbling.

It's fucking awesome.

[audience applauding]

[laughs] Comedian extraordinaire, Earthquake.

[upbeat music] Hold it.

He's half man, half woman.

Mm-hmm

... uh, Earthquake, uh, Aries Spears.

All of them will tell me they usually don't watch other comedians, just from the fear of you hear something that they say is funny, and you think you could take it another place.

Mm-hmm.

Now I gotta build a 15, 20, maybe even a 30 minute set.

But you still kind of keep the jokes the same.

And, like, one of the things I, I appreciate about Earthquake, 'cause he said this, like, you gotta be able to tell the same joke in 60 seconds, in three minutes-

hurricane.

I think earthquake was a wrestler, actually.

Such a good

first instinct.

And the human tornado, Mark Anthony, was in Wrestling Society X.

And there was a wrestler named Earthquake.

Yep, that's right.

And again, she's a meteorologist, so she knows when a serious storm or disaster is occurring within your area.

It was last year we got tickets to see Earthquake over at a local comedy club out here in Virginia Beach called the Funny Bone.

And the day of it happened, it was during and it was it made national news where like there was a what was it like a glitch in the system and a number of flights that got delayed or canceled and this and that and the other.

And.

Um, we knew of each other, but met on the show.

Earthquake.

[laughs] He's never been on the show.

Oh, please God, yes.

Not with me.
