Earth Hour

So earlier in my career, gosh, this would have been like mid 2000s, I think.

There was this thing, maybe it's still going, but they called it Earth Hour.

And it was you shut your house down for an hour.

Like basically you went to the circuit breaker and you shut the main breaker off.

I'm like, well, this sounds like fun.

And so I remember, and it was like a big thing.

I don't even remember where I heard about it or whatever, but it was like, okay, on this day at this time, like, you know, participate in Earth Hour and everybody would go and they'd shut off as much power as they could.

I don't know.

Letterman knows this story already, but he brings him on to be like, give me that Bob Uecker story again.

Next, we have Earth Hour.

Oh, so I said this.

I think I mentioned this in the Rise and Fall of Comedy Central episode that we did where I said, I've heard Norm tell this story, but I can't find the fucking clip.

And, uh...

But it was fun, but I got a weird time.

They showed it at 11.30 on Saturday, and it turned out that that was during this thing called Earth Hour.

I think some people know what it is.

Um, they do extraordinary work.

But I think Earth Hour, is that still going?

Yeah.

Switch everything off for an hour.

And that's when we started then this day that is called Introduce a Girl to Engineering Day.

We were very inspired by Earth Hour this day.

So we thought, okay, let's do the same concept.

It's one day, but it happens all over Sweden.
