Eamon O'Shea

You know, if we take the likes of a temporary, for example, do temporary have a couple of former managers or former head coaches that could support Westmeath, you know, during their season? I don't know.

Liam Sheedy and Eamonn O'Shea, could they, you know, support Westmeath? Westmeath wants a fortnight for a period of maybe four to five months to see can we align their standards and their training schedule and their training loads with what was the kind of best practice in temporary.

That's number one.

I totally understand they won't be able to facilitate that without some extra finance.

The previous All-Ireland under 21 final they made was in the '60s, 1967.

It's massive, and if I mention some of the names of the players that are coming through from these under 21 teams, I mentioned Michael Doyle already, Donie O'Connell, Pat Fox, Eamonn O'Shea, who people remember, who know now as a, you know, one of the great coaches of the modern era.

He was a tremendous forward in his day.

Gerry Stapleton I mentioned.
