The first is the short A as in at.

The second Zir short E as in effort.

The third Pish gives the short O sound something like the sound of O in should or of U in the French plumb pronounced short.

For example Mim with a Zabar, Mim with a Zir, Mim with a Pish.

But elsewhere in a word it is indicated simply by Alif as in Shod, glad.

There is no sign in Persian for the vowel O as in note but Ah with Zabar followed by Vav is pronounced O.

Example Oder paternal uncle, Orang throne.

Ye following any letter with Zir is pronounced as long E, i.e. as double E in sheep.

So let's now actually just look at the formula.

The formula is F0, which is the price of the futures right now at time zero equals S0 which is the price of the underlying, the spot price at time zero or right now times E to the RT.

E in that number is what's called Euler's number which is a mathematical constant a bit like pi and Euler's number is 2.718 and then it kind of continues on forever a bit like pi.

Now that number is built into most financial calculators and that will allow you to calculate continuously compounded interest very easily.

We're going to be using that number and that type of formula and we'll be using continuously compounded interest for most of our derivatives calculations in the upcoming videos.

Reaching low Earth orbit requires a velocity change of roughly 9.5 km per second.

With chemical rockets producing exhaust at 4.5 km per second, the mass ratio is e to the power of about 2.1 approximately 8.

This means a rocket bound for orbit is about 87% propellant by mass, with roughly 13% left over for structure and payload.

The best chemical propellant combinations, liquid hydrogen and liquid oxygen, produce exhaust velocities of about 4.5 km per second.

This is the same propellant used by the Space Shuttle main engines and by the upper stages of many modern launch vehicles.

That exponent equals approximately 6667. and E, raised to the power of 6,667, is a number with roughly 2,900 digits.

To grasp how absurd this is, the estimated number of atoms in the entire observable universe is approximately 10 to the 80th power, a number with 80 digits.

Gosh, it sure is a big deal.
