E. C. Glass High School

Well, Coach, I'm gonna, uh, I wanna start off by asking you real quick, I mean, uh, coming through the season, you guys played, you know, five pretty good, you know, teams off the get-go.

You played Reidsville, Amherst, EC Glass, Watauga, Wayne Fleming.

Uh, any season that, that, those are five tough opponents.

Did you expect you guys to be, you know, coming to this, you know, what, week six, 5 and 0?

Um, it's my, my hometown.

I grew up in Lynchburg, uh, went to EC Glass, and, and I didn't expect it to move quite as quickly as it did down here when we opened a couple of years ago, had the opportunity to do so.

Um, but it's, it's been very, very successful here.

We've been very pleased with the response and the welcoming, um, that we've gotten here.

Um, where does it go? Where, what's the, what's the course?

Yeah, so our course actually starts at, um, EC Glass on the lawn.

Okay.

It's the same, same start-finish line as the Virginia 10 Miler-

And, you know, then you start taking the LCAs, the Jefferson Forces, and we've been pretty daggone good over the last couple of years.

Glass has had those years here and there.

Amherst has been, you know, here and there.

But overall, it's a physical district.

That sucked.

Right? Four and five.

You know, on this new rivalry with Easton Glass, now I'm 13-3.

There you go.
