Dylan Edwards had four.

You had seven combined carries by your running backs in the first half of this game.

In a game in which your quarterback was very clearly struggling to throw the football.

In a game where your quarterback was clearly struggling, he was not on target really or on time for a majority of the game.

You have two, what I would consider to be quality running backs and Yassin Willis.

I'm very high on Yassin Willis and Dylan Edwards as well.

And you just didn't get him the ball in the first half.

Do we want to do game balls for this game where you lose by 17 to rival? I guess we should because it still shows like who played well when KU lost offensive game ball.

Honestly, give it to Dylan Edwards.

He only had five carries, but he had 41 yards rushing, right? He actually ended up with a positive EPA per play.

epa and uh 40 success rate in the end um i i thought he looked pretty good like uh the one play where he had that that nice run on like a a second long to make it more manageable on third down where you like stiff arm the guy when i first saw the play on video i was like oh that's the same willis he has like such a good stiff arm and ended up being dylan edwards so uh i really like what we saw there and then uh he also had one catch for 18 yards in the end so i would go with edwards as the uh offensive ball for KU.

I think Leroy Harris wins the defensive game ball for KU.

I don't think it was a great game for the secondary for KU.

He can break tackles.

And then Dylan Edwards.

I mean, Edwards is the guy, the change of pace, you get him out in the open field, get him the ball in the flat, do some things with him, and he can change a game.

He didn't really get going much, and the only time Long Island kicked off, they kicked away from him in the return game.

But I think Dylan Edwards is a guy who can be an X factor in this one.

All right, what's the health for Kansas like? I know Bam Crouch is not going to play.

How big of a loss is that? And what about any other players that are dealing with injuries that might not play tonight?

And I think they're shooting for the moon.

I mean, they've got Dylan Edwards, an explosive player, that they are going to try to make a factor.

They've got a quarterback in Isaiah Marsha who's an explosive player that they're going to go with the inexperienced guy and say, we want the upside.

We want the big plays that he can bring.

On both sides of the ball? Yeah.

Well, I think offensively, Dylan Edwards is the guy that I'll be keeping an eye on for a couple of reasons.

Number one, KU didn't really showcase him very much against Long Island.

I think that's by design, wanting to keep some of what they've schemed up with him close to the vest.

You know, we were out at fall camp.

You guys were obviously both there as well.

I watched Dylan Edwards quite a bit, and he was not always lining up at the running back spot.

And there was a lot of individual conversations being had between him and Andy Kolnicki at various times throughout practices that we were watching.

I think they have a better chance of running well in this game, but it's hard to see Kansas winning this game without establishing the run, especially more than they did last year.

And so when I look at Yasin Willis, Dylan Edwards, Isaiah Marshall needs to be running a lot.

Maybe some Jalen Dupree sprinkled in there, here and there.

Kansas needs to have a good day on the ground if they have any chance of winning this game.

So that went from a something I would bet to now something I might hold a little bit on.

Other guys of note, Caden Lee is 45 and a half.

Dylan Edwards for Kansas is 24 and a half.

That's kind of interesting there, too.

Kansas now.

has what looks to be a very viable rushing attack with Yasin Willis and Dylan Edwards and obviously Zeke Marshall.

I mean, I think the rushing attack could be a big factor in this game.

But then you toss in as well for Kansas the emergence of some big-time wide receivers.
