Those policies are also impacting the main immigration office in Rome.

DW's correspondent Angelo Bonshaik takes us there.

Outside this immigration office in Rome, a group tells me they've been waiting since yesterday afternoon, three o'clock.

They've spent the whole night standing here and they're not even sure they'll be able to get inside.

And they hope that today they will be able to get inside.
