Dutch Schultz was a famous gangster from New York City.

And, uh, it's a true story about [clears throat] the Jewish mob's attempt to assassinate Hitler in nineteen thirty-three, which failed obviously.

But yeah, sort of like a true life, um, Inglourious Basterds.

Yeah, yeah, that was unknown.

And this, there's several layers of stupidity here.

One of which is she's now disc- d- talking about her sheltered background, which didn't she tell us that she gradu- she's from the Bronx? She wa- I th- I thought she knew J.Lo and Dutch Schultz and all those guys in the Bronx.

I, I thought she graduated from Fort Apache [laughs] the Bronx High School.

Now what, now she's telling us she came from a sheltered background when she went to BU.

That was a new one.

And that's what this film is about.

So Dutch Schultz was a guy who, he was known as the beer baron, not the Homer Simpson beer baron, but he was the beer baron of the Bronx.

You're out there somewhere, beer baron, and I'll find you.

No, you won't.

Nobody can just come up to her and say or do anything.

you know, Jurassic Sunset games, right? It's the base idea of mashing up GTA Vice City and Zelda, you know, came from me, but everything else is from like a team effort and to be frank, like a friends and family effort.

I would be brainstorming you know with not just the team but again my friends in the industry and even just like childhood friends or family of mine and they'd be like oh well this is a cool idea or this is fun um so like the the main character Dutch is my dad so my dad is oh really is Dutch Schultz um okay it's it's he's a he's a New York kid and back in the day there was an old gangster named Dutch Schultz so Hence, that's where he got his name from, and then this is where we got the name for the main character in the game.

Along the way, we were like, man, we want just a really cool... singular you know name like we'll do you know link or share and we're like what can we what can we throw in that i'm like ah well my dad was that new york guy that came down in the 80s and you know that whole um there's a um there's like a stereotype here in florida of like new yorkers coming down and you know that kind of thing and so he was he's literally that and so i'm like oh what about dutch and everyone's like yeah that's good enough Yeah, it kind of stuck.

And now my dad's like, is my game ready yet? Are you done with my game? And I'm like, yeah.

Yeah.

Well, the thing that struck me right away was the story behind the game.

And you have a character, Dutch, who...

I think, if I remember correctly, has all this potential to be like this really good cop and then goes bad instead.
