Dustin Welch

I'm a retired educator, a musician for many, many, many years, and I'm the president of the board of the local Northwest Arkansas chapter of Soldier Songs and Voices, and I'm also vice president of the National Board of Soldier Songs and Voices.

Soldier Songs and Voices was started in Austin, Texas, by father and son songwriters Kevin and Dustin Welch.

They just saw that there was a need out there in the veteran community, and there, there's a very large veteran community down in that area, especially, uh, near San Anton.

That was in 2011, and now they have local chapters across the nation.
