what's up everybody and welcome to another edition of crush city territory as you can tell by my dulcet tones i am not chandler rome in fact i am tyler stafford uh joined by a very special guest today uh we've got comedian author extraordinaire uh and more importantly and relevant to our podcast uh a long-suffering mariners fan dustin nickerson dustin thanks for joining us Thank you for

having me.

Happy to be here.

I'll watch my little friend go into the Hall of Fame, and I'll cheer for him, and that'll be fine.

But, yeah, I... yeah that's it's tough to watch because again i i like that team and you know i your uh your your bit about the astros and uh when i think i don't know where you're performing in houston when you did that bit about them that's on oh with the hosting joke yes very good yeah what yeah

for that one that was at the riot yeah that was fun because it is um you know to to just get to be a heel like just to use the wrestling term just a straight up villain telling them that they're cheaters to their face and then just booing and booing because the reason you would never really do that as a comic especially early on in your set is like hey man i gotta be up here for another hour and you know, these people here, especially at that stage of my career, they like the Astros a lot more than they like Dustin Nickerson.

But to know that I had the relief to make it about Osteen was, it was fun.

day, said, I think it's cute, because we were talking about 18-year-olds.

I mean, it's, it's a totally different thing.

I mean, like, my buddy, uh, Dustin Nickerson, who's on the road with me a lot.

Mm-hmm.

He has, like, three kids and a beautiful wife, and he's, like, when he's on the road, it's, like, great, but when he's home, he's home.

A streak of anarchy and a lot of violence ran through most of them.

But as comedian Dustin Nickerson observed recently after trying to introduce these classic cartoons to his young daughter, they haven't necessarily aged well.

More than a few characters have speech impediments, he notes, and lots of them exhibit very aggressive behavior.
