Dustfall

Like I can't even imagine that feeling.

And at the heart of The Unbelieved and Dustfall is sexual assault, but not, I think the common trope in TV and movies is that you have woman as victim and then you have the investigation trying to find the bad guys.

But I think in The Unbelieved, I really wanted to focus on, well, who are the women that are left behind after this happened and how might they be feeling and how might they be reacting? And how much do they not trust the law to give them justice? Or if they do trust it to give them justice, how often are they let down? And are they just going to take that line down? And so the focus, I guess the shift in that as a topic was that i wanted women i wanted female empowerment i was a huge buffy fan and if you've never watched buffy you won't understand this but if you have you'll go here absolutely right at the end uh buffy is the slayer one girl chosen in all the world and what she does is she figures out how to give that power to all of the potential slayers and then shares that power and so i i wanted in my character i wanted her to be powerful But I wanted her to enable other women to be powerful.

So she teaches self-defense.

And I can tell you absolutely war is coming down the pipe.

Dustfall is about to land on the ABC.
