Dursey Island

I mean, everyone goes to the Ring of Kerry, but Beara is, for me, is just gorgeous.

And I think it was with my mum at the time, and we were right down at the very, very edge of the peninsula, and there's a place called Dursey Island.

And, and, uh, well, Beannadhu, the island that, um, the book, well, fictional island, just popped into my head, and Grisella was just suddenly there.

She was just in my head, and I was just like Or I got home and I just started writing it, so it was just there.

Traveling to Dursey Island is uneventful.

It's still a bit of a journey.

You have to travel to the seaside town of, I apologize to Irish, Derrynaraig, and take a boat crossing through Dursey Sound until you land on the island.
