RoryHOST

I'm all for ferries.
RoryHOST
9:44
It's just, I just think it's like, if you've got Western ferries who can do a good service there in the Firth of Clyde, and you've got local guys from Dunoon employed, that's great.
RoryHOST
9:52
And to your point about local seafarers, a lot of the guys in CalMac are not even from Scotland.
RoryHOST
9:57
They're basically coming up from down south.
Annabelle ChartonGUEST

And then on, keeping on the sort of parkrun theme, I noticed that you were over in Dunoon the other weekend as well, sporting the Ochrardr 10k t-shirt.
Steven WattHOST
50:46
Oh, thank you.
Steven WattHOST
50:48
But it was just a quick chance to plug the Scottish Park Run's YouTube that you feature in from time to time.
Steven WattHOST
51:39
Yeah, put some audience in his direction.
Steven WattHOST
51:42
But it's good to check it out and it's just a nice wee refreshing way to see those new additions to it do you collect park runs are you one of these park run
Jennifer WettonGUEST
51:53
um yeah well going to Dunoon that was my uh my 99th different park run event that I've been to so it's it's a park run thing to like get to 100 and I'll keep going after that I'm still still trying to get around all the events in Scotland but I've got five or six still to go but it's all really awkward to get to ones like Thurisaw and Shetland and Orkney and Stornoway but I'll I'll get there eventually maybe once I retire and I've got more time
Steven WattHOST
52:21

Similar, John.
Gabriel AntoniazziCORRESPONDENT
9:48

Gabriel AntoniazziCORRESPONDENT
12:03
And, you know, you've obviously got John and a busload of the boys going up there tonight, and they want to see a positive performance.
Gabriel AntoniazziCORRESPONDENT
12:08
And as we said earlier on, I think home form is going to be crucial to try and nick one of they two top spots.
Gordon DuncanHOST
12:13
Is this a regular thing, John? Is this a group of you from Dunoon that come up to all the games or certainly a lot of them?
speaker_8AUDIENCE
12:17

Madge BrayGUEST
6:48
And then when I was, uh, I was conceived in Ballater, I think, but then my father was with the Forestry Commission, so he was placed in the West Conservancy, all over the Western Highlands.
Madge BrayGUEST
7:04
So I was born in, I, w- by the, by the time I was, I, uh, they, they, they married in Ballater, and within about a year, I was born near Dunoon in a wee- Oh, yeah ... place called Glenbranter- Uh-huh ...

Madge BrayGUEST
7:23
So, um, we moved then to Strathaire in Perthshire.
Madge BrayGUEST
7:29
And Dunoon, uh, you know, um, that area was the Gaeltacht, and so I heard the sounds around me all the time- Mm ... of voices that were doing this, and when they were speaking English, this is how they were speaking.
Madge BrayGUEST
7:44
So the speaking was very sing-song.
Lori ReeseGUEST
1:13
And I know how you love Scotland.
Bill DavisHOST
1:15

I'm sure you chased Stephen up that body promenade, did you not? In Dunoon.
John CassidyHOST
41:52
Yeah.
Alan O'RourkeGUEST
