Dunn's River Falls

But if there's something in particular that you want, so, "You know what? We would love to do golfing.

I would love to do some, some, um, river, river rafting and climbing the river," then you know what? Ocho Rios is perfect because you have the Dunn's River Falls and you have the golf course.

So define what you want, and then we will take it from there.

Well, with so many different areas, and th- that's really my next question, is for travelers who might think, "Well, I've already been to Jamaica," what makes it worth going back? Because I personally have been to Jamaica many, many times, but I keep going back because there's always something new and there's different parts of the island that are truly different experiences.

And let's recap what we've already talked about.

We talked about my favorite things to do in Jamaica, Dunn's River Falls, Rick's Cafe in Seven Mile Beach, Bob Marley tours, bamboo rafting, James Bond tours, and then you have to go to-

Yeah, it was a long time to get there.

It was past Dunn's Falls.

Yeah, which I had heard people say that Dunn's River Falls is really far away, and so I was sort of hoping that this was a little bit closer.

But our driver pointed Dunn's River Falls out to us, and then we just kept going probably another 20 minutes past that.

And then it was kind of, you know, back to back in the car.

So, but

I, everyone had said that the Dunn's Falls is really touristy and really crowded, which even just like, googling pictures that's what it looked like it was going to be and this one was not at all at

We were, where were we? We were in a very lovely resort in Ocho Rios, I think it's called.

And we went to like the Dunn River Falls.

Is that

the one everyone jumps off into the pool?

One of the stops, Brian, was in Ocho Rios.

And we went to Dunn's River Falls, 40-foot waterfall that you walk up and stuff like that.

And as we're driving around, this is 20... 25 years ago, maybe, I think, or maybe 22, 23 years ago, we're driving around, and as I'm on the bus, I'm looking, I'm like, that smacks of the doc scene at the end of Dr.

No when the whole thing's blowing up, and my friends are like, shut up.

So that's kind of cool.

If you're a cruise fan and you've been to Jamaica, that's something there.

And like you had already touched on with going to Dunn's River Falls and seeing all that stuff, there's just a lot of stuff that just makes this pop on the screen the way it looks because it's just so simple because while Jamaica may still not be that built up in the large scheme of things to other Caribbean islands, it looks a lot different now than it did in 1962.

All right, I got to say, Puerto Rico is a really cool place.

I don't know why I had never been to Puerto Rico, and then I took a cruise, and we went to Puerto Rico, and going up Dunn's River Falls was incredible.

It was incredibly scary in one way, but it was incredibly awesome in another way, and Um, I've experienced it like him where we just kind of wandered around and went to different places and that's where I discovered Mufungo and San Juan was cool.

So yeah, I would absolutely put that on your list if you get a chance and you're traveling.
