Dungeons & Dragons Basic Set

I haven't talked very much about the mechanical aspects of the fanart, and I'm not really going to, although that is something with which the book is very concerned.

In trying to make different creatures playable, the game reveals why all your basic D&D races are, if not exactly the same, pretty much the same, because once you introduce creatures that have really different capabilities, balancing gets very tricky.

Okay, maybe one of the members of my party has dark vision.

That's pretty annoying, but I can get a lantern.

And I still remember that first session like it's something that really happened, you know? I, we fought were rats in the sewer, and we were using dice on a little map just to kinda figure out where our characters were, but everything was theater of the mind back then.

And, um, shortly after that, I got the Basic Set and the Expert Set, and then when Advanced Dungeons & Dragons came out, you know, the rest is history.

I, I, you know, I think I've bought every book that came out since then, so.

All the editions? You, you followed all the edition releases?
