Dungarpur

And then the bigger challenge was how do you make this work in government schools, and how do you make this work in urban and rural areas across the kind of diversity that India has? So then we worked for three years in, uh, the state of Rajasthan in four very different districts.

So, uh, Churu, Jhunjhunu in the north, uh, Udaipur, Dungarpur in the south.

And what we find over those three years is that, you know, I mean, it is possible to develop protocols where this type of program is something that is integrated into the school timetable, where teachers are supported to be able to use it with their students.

And what we find there is that, you know, over, uh, about a year and a half, the productivity of instructional time, you know, by which I mean, how much does a child learn in, say, six months or in a year or in a year and a half, that goes up by about fifty to sixty-six percent, right? So about fifty percent in math, about sixty-six percent in Hindi, and that-- and those are big results, right? So I mean, typically in industry, if you manage to raise the productivity of something by ten percent, that's a winner because that's how much better you're doing for the same resource input.
