Dune: Part Two

Dune 3, uh...

Dune 2 obviously had a big glow up from Dune 1, and again, you get back to Dune 1 was really released in the thick of the, uh, [clears throat] of what do you call it? The thick of, uh, [clears throat] the, the pandemic.

So it was only kind of a given, uh, that, that Dune 2 would come out and do even better b- better because the people who liked Dune 1, uh, were very vocal about it.

And again, we got a foundational platform that's online, it's streaming, it's building our interest.

Dune 2 did 715 million worldwide, a huge, um, you know, glow up.

And, uh, I believe that that number will hit over a billion this time with Dune 3.

I believe you're gonna see a one, a two, a three glow up like you did with Dark Knight.

But the movies are better than they have any right to be, I think.

Sometimes I just put Dune Two on, and I just, like, won't even be paying attention.

It'll just be, like, on in the background in my house.

And then I was listening to your record-

... and, uh, I came in, back into the living room at, like, a really incredible moment where there was, like, a fight happening, and there was this real big, like, swell of kind of noise.

And I had the idea that, like, you guys should lean into that and try to, like, build up some sort of mythology that, like, the new record is, like, meant to be synced to Dune Two.

Yeah, Hotel Dune-sona.

You kind of are just thrown into this story and then kinda have to pick things up as you go.

Dune Part Two was my favorite movie of 2024.

And boy, oh boy, Donald Trump talked to the UN today.

most important person in the world talk to what i would consider the most the most important legislative or organization in the world and i want to take a step back here last night I was going through the channels because, you know, you can only watch Dune 2 like 500 times.

There's like a limit somehow.

Society and their rules, right? But I went to C-SPAN.

Mm-hmm.

And I wanna hit Dune 2.

I am, uh, legally obligated to watch End of Evangelion.
