Like you have the red hats in Iceland.

The Duendes in South America also have red pointy hats.

That's a very odd, odd similarity.

highlight of the weekend.

I watched a couple episodes because of Duende.

When we get there, it's in a residential area.

I was like, what is this, a school? Go in there, it's a bathhouse.

And what they thought were raccoons, turns out it was those little guys with like pelts on.

And the Brazilian guys were freaking out and they were screaming Duende and they ran down the hill and they quit the job.

Whoa.

Yeah.

um it's not the same thing but anyone who really died in battle to some extent uh became deified in death and joined the sun um in the heavens and so like the um the women who died would be or and the um men who died would be tonaleque and the tonaleques would um they are warrior spirits they are also solar spirits because they are with the sun and they can do a lot of things

being also latinos um and for me i won't speak for len but for me like being a in a tradition as well as like practicing brujeria There's also duendes, right? Duendes are also these perfect spirits who are minor spirits that you can work with in various ways.

Who are the spirits you're working? So these are things to be thinking of as we explore our magic, as we explore our systems, as we explore our cosmology, as we explore magic and sorcery and the occult as a whole, as a practitioner, right? Like, who are these spirits that you're working with? You know, like, are you someone who works from a tradition, a culture that maybe works more with things that are maybe considered in some places, dryads or nymphs or things like that, right? Maybe that is the way that they would consider your spirits or the The idea also, like...
