Duane Rankin

Nate, how do you say the game?

um more to the point i don't want to like you can't make excuses for something a performance that pathetic but um how much disruption do you reckon that report from duane rankin that their flight i don't know if it was commercial private who knows um flight out of phoenix to portland was delayed by four hours for maintenance issues it was only meant to be a two-hour flight to start with I mean, surely that's – I mean, there's got to be a routine of prep they go through before every game.

And this probably threw them completely out of their whack.

But, I mean, again, you can't make an excuse for that level of fucking –

But despite the result, many observers considered the Suns' season a surprising success.

So how do they follow that up this season? My co-host, Mark Brodie, spoke with Duane Rankin about that.

He covers the Suns for The Arizona Republic.

And they started with the fact that the team management seemed generally happy with last season's team, and by and large, decided to bring back many of those players.

All right.

It'll be interesting to see for sure.

That is Duane Rankin.

He covers the Phoenix Suns for The Arizona Republic.

So a lot of those things are, are, are going through my mind as far as this team goes.

And we do have a Luke Kennard update via Duane Rankin, who is boots on the ground in San Antonio from Jordan Knot who says, "I don't know exactly what it is." They talked to him briefly.

Seemed like he's in good spirits.

We'll see him more tomorrow.

But it's interesting to hear how Antetokounmpo views himself and what he's chasing.

Suns General Manager Brian Gregory on Devin Booker via Duane Rankin of the Arizona Republic, hat tip Rory Meagher of Hoops Rumors.

Quote, "I'm privy to some stuff that fans and/or media aren't privy to.

I see what he does every single day.

So the Wildcats, who were key cogs in that team last year and that run that they made, have been great.

Koa Peat has had some highs and lows, and then there was this video yesterday from shootaround at the United Center captured by Duane Rankin, so shout-out to Duane once again.

And you might understand why it had the internet in a tizzy.

For those of you who are listening to us on audio, you can go look up the video on Duane's Twitter account.

I don't understand the hate that Oso Ighodaro gets.

Like, when it was announced from Jordan Ott, via Duane Rankin, who did a great job covering the team remote.

When it was announced that he was starting, I mean, people were pissed.

They were so mad.
