Drive-Away Dolls

So we hope you laugh.

Driveaway Dolls.

I was a background extra on that.

That was really cool.

Kinds of Kindness.

And also, uh, Drive-Away Dolls But we've never done it.

This is the closest I think that we've ever come to walking out of it

And I think this is the closest that we've both, like jointly, at the same moment, come-

Like, she's fucking amazing." And just seeing her, you know, um, seeing her in Poor Things, even though she's not in it for a, a, a ton of time.

And even though I'm not crazy about Drive-Away Dolls, I do think that it shows that she can even take, at points, she can even take something that's shit, um, 'cause that's not a good script, but she can still get a little...

She can still mine a little something out of it.

Um, I haven't seen Kinds of Kindness yet.

He's just been whacking away.

He did Drive Away Dolls, he did Honey Don't.

Uh, both fun films, never like-

You guys talk a lot about Buster Scruggs.

She said, and she's so right about this, fight me.

She said, this movie is what Honey Don't and Drive Away dolls wanted to be, but failed.

I think

so, too.

And I don't usually like action movies, you know, but I did like it because it was gay and there were women and they were all hot.

And it was also funny.

Like it had the like campiness that I feel like Honey Don't and Drive Away Dolls tried to have, but I don't think they did a good job.

They missed the mark.

...

Drive-Away Dolls.

Yeah.

Tricia Cook, um, wife and, uh, longtime, like, editor for her husband Ethan Coen.

I cannot believe I didn't know this.

Oh yeah, no.

I mean, she only recently became kind of a storyline because she, she co-wrote, and effectively, and Ethan will talk about this too, co-directed with her husband Drive-Away Dolls and Honey Don't.

Like their weird lesbian du- like duology that they've put out.
