Drew Seeley

Troy's vocals are not Zac Efron's.

What? Oh, really? What? Hello? What? Drew Seeley sang most of Troy's vocals in the first movie because the songs were written for a higher tenor vocal range before Zac Efron was cast.

But he sings in two and three.

I don't care.

Zac Efron couldn't sing.

We brought in Drew Seeley to do the musical parts for Zac Efron.

So why are we just not bringing someone else in to then sing for the men?

Yeah, it doesn't make sense to me

Yeah.

And so he was replaced by Drew Seeley, who is also a name which we will mention a couple of times this podcast because he has a strong connection with the movie.

Now, in terms of the musical on stage, they did a workshop and a tryout at Stage Door Manor, which was a summer theatre camp, which must have been amazing for those kids to be the first people to ever do the musical.

Wow.

Now, the music for the stage show was written by quite a few people.

So I'm going to list off the people who wrote the music for the stage show.

It was written by Matthew Gerrard, Robbie Neville, Ray and Greg Cham, Drew Seeley, Randy Peterson, Kevin Quinn, Andy Dodd, Adam Watts, Brian Luizel, David N. Lawrence, Faye Greenberg and Jamie Houston.

I'm not sure why there was that many people involved in writing the songs for this stage show, but there we go.
