Drew Scott

Well, that's a great question.

And the first part of the conversation was with Drew Scott, one of the Property Brothers, who had a great, wonderful global brand, who became a co-owner of this franchise with us.

And our first conversation, we'd known each other for 25, 27 years, well before any success or fame.

Our first conversation was, hey, Drew, would you have any interest in joining us? And our conversation genuinely was, this community has given us everything.

And our conversation genuinely was, this community has given us everything you know how can we join forces to give back and that's how it really started and um and really i i wish that i was as smart as he was or as tall but uh he yeah he's always been an ambitious guy and really smart and he had 20 years of experience in tv production and he said you know mike is there a way that we can tell this story and I think he had had relationships with people actually in the CHL and I think he had built the trust and that together with the trust that Ron Toigo has had with the WHL and junior hockey, it really opened a door to having access like the game has honestly, I don't even know what to say, it's never seen before.

That's according to court documents.

But hopefully Carrot Top's okay.

That was such a sad story.

Sorry
