Dream a Little Dream of Me

Birds singing in the sycamore tree.

Dream a little dream of me.

Say nighty-night and kiss me.

Just hold me tight and tell me you'll miss me.

While I'm alone and blue as can be.

Dream a little dream of me.

Stars fading but I linger on, dear.

Still craving your kiss.

Like AJ mentioned with Spider Noir, they had, I think it's in episode one, the character Kat has this, she does Dream a Little Dream of Me, where it starts in that kind of big band style, but then it gets more modernized a little further.

So they were like, "This is the idea.

We want something that has a bit of that throwback, but that is modernized." So it, it was a little more open-ended, but then AJ was able to pull out a lot of different reference, and then we worked with them going back and forth, and then they worked with Kirby, who is the artist who ended up doing the final piece that we did.

That's Dream a Little Dream of Me, an old Gus Kahn song from a long, long time ago, freshened up by Mama Cass in 1968.

Also from 1968, here's The Vogues and My Special Angel.

My special angel Sent from up above The Lord smiled down on me And sent an angel to love Life from paradise.

Fireflies by Owl City, which I think another band is doing that same song.

Dream a Little Dream of Me.

Dreams by Van Halen.

Blinding Lights by The Weeknd.
