Lava Spike, so like about a buck.
Usman JamilGUEST
67:45
Yeah.
Usman JamilGUEST
67:46
But I think that and the whole Entomb slash Necromancy or Dread Return, because I don't know, I feel like the meta may not be able to handle stuff like that.
Usman JamilGUEST
67:58
I've really gone down on reanimation stuff in my own cubes just because of the polarizing play pattern of them.
Usman JamilGUEST
68:06
Because it's like, do you have it or do you not? And then it's just like, it's i don't know it's that's at least what's coming to mind and then there's just like stuff like mirror retriever and perilous mirror which are just like seem very below the power level of the cube but i think like on first glance i would say that's probably draftable
Zac ClarkHOST

We've replaced memories journey with, I think, Cabal Therapy.
Johan LarsonGUEST
6:27
Yeah, and that's more or less the deck has, in terms of color, reverted to how it was before, i.e. being an Esper deck or rather a blue-white deck with a very light black splash to be actually able to cast especially Cabal Therapy, which is a very powerful card, but also sometimes hard-cast Dread Return, which sometimes comes up, but not as much as Cabal Therapy.
Zac ClarkHOST
7:05
And it also, you know, having the Cabal Therapy in your deck allows you to, if you've drawn Dread Return, to get the Dread Return out of your deck to be able to actually cast it from the Graveyard.
Johan LarsonGUEST
7:14
Yeah, sure, it's much better when you have combo pieces in your hand, but it's also, in my opinion, more powerful countering the opponents, whatever they have, more so than Memory's Journey ever was.
Johan LarsonGUEST
7:34
But it's a very fun card which really requires you to know what... what cards are generally in your opponent's deck, and reading their plays to get a feel what they might have in hand.

DanielHOST

DanielHOST
37:04
We return target creature from our graveyard to the battlefield.
MarkHOST
46:16
Yeah.
MarkHOST
46:17
and oh look at this yeah another hopeless nightmare and i get a snack i don't get a snack i get a grey merchant uh yep i've actually managed to narrowly win this game and consequently the match yeah the life gain i was getting yeah was putting me in a comfortable position but I'm always keeping a removal spell kicking around just in case he does get the accursed got a snipe because even if you get to play it and like mid to late game when you've got manor open yeah I can kill it but don't forget he's got a graveyard and if his graveyard says all these lava darts and you know fire blasts I could soon still be dead anyway so Neil is my third round opponent and he's on the four land spider yep it literally only has four land and when he plays a card called balustrade spy which is a black and three yeah and he's got various ways to tutor up his land so he actually gets it yeah when that enters play you know you mill cards until you um hit a land well you've already you played all your land by then so it literally mills your whole deck and and to enable you that you don't die on your next turn, yeah, you're able to cast a Dread Return by sacking three creatures, yeah, that are in play, yeah, because the Dread Return will now be in your graveyard, because you've milled it away, you target your lot left giant, and the lot left giant, yeah, you've got about 35 odd creatures in the deck, and you basically dome you to win the game, so this is actually going to be a really interesting matchup, and one that I played last week, although with my oars off, Blink Deck, and last week, you know, Neil won game one with about 10 minutes to spare.
MarkHOST

And somehow on the last turn of extra turns, I was able to manipulate the board.
MarkHOST
48:01
So I got my opponent down to three life and I'd drawn a Vampire Sovereign.
