Yep.

Justin went to college for plants.

If you like look at it wrong, then it probably needs a bigger pot because it's just too top heavy.

And Dracaenas will do this pretty often.

Sometimes Dracaenas, though, they just need to be in a ceramic pot because they don't actually need a bigger pot.

And then the other reason is if your plant is drinking water too fast for you to keep up with it, which usually happens when there's so much foliage in relation to the pot size.

Like it's too high a ratio of foliage to pot size.

Hmm.

Okay? Um, uh, but the, the most striking tests that were done involved the keeper of the plant, let's say Cleve Backster, being on a bus ride two hours away from the laboratory, and meanwhile, the system is set up autonomously back at the lab to continue to provide polygraph tracings from the, let's say, the Dracaena plant.

And Backster all of a sudden will, like, think of, with sincere intent, let's say, coming back to the lab and just burning the whole plant or tearing it apart, right? Or, or even more interestingly, let's say all of a sudden Backster will, uh, inadvertently think of, let's say, his, uh, his aunt that he was very close to who just died recently and be in deep grief over the fact of her death, right? And since he knows that the polygraph is still going back in the lab, even though this is an inadvertent thought that he's had, o- once he, he, he, you know, is, is processing that intense emotion, he does note the time from his wristwatch, the time at which he went into this emotional state, 'cause he wants to go back to the lab and see whether there's anything registered by the plant.

And lo and behold, when you go back and you check the polygraph tracing, the plant responds to the intense emotional state of its keeper, even if it's an, a, a emotional response that has nothing to do with the welfare of the plant.

Uh, spider plant.

The spider plant is in their family, and as is the, the snake plant, that, that, that mother-in-law's tongue, the Sansevieria that's now in the, um, in the genus, uh, Dracaena.

That's all asparagus stuff, all of the same sort of fighting metal.

Anyway, so th- [laughs] those I dug out.

In that period of time, I think Dracaena, uh, Draco, these are very popular.

Then ev- every, e- every drawing, every render has al- some form of Dracaena.

Yeah.

And then Instagram came, Pinterest came.

Yeah.

So, uh, they, plants got trends.
