Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog

While some shows' airing schedules were uninterrupted, many others had their seasons shortened, were placed on hiatus, or were cancelled.

In the midst of this turmoil, with no work to be done, director Joss Whedon, best known for his work on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, for his contributions to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and for his workplace harassment, got together with his brothers and a few friends to write the cult classic online musical comedy Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, which was released in July of 2008 after the strike had ended.

Dr. Horrible stars Neil Patrick Harris in the titular role, a wannabe supervillain whose evil plans are constantly foiled by his nemesis, Captain Hammer, played by Nathan Fillion.

Captain Hammer is all brawn and no brain.

What's the musical with the mask, the guy?

Doctor Horrible.

Oh, Phantom of the Opera.

Yeah, that's what you look like.

So Dr., who the hell are you talking to?

Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.

It's a great movie.

It's got Neil Patrick Harris in it.

So to start off, the show was created by Joss Whedon.

Folks may know him for, uh, excuse me, uh, for Firefly, Angel, which was a spinoff of Buffy, uh, Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, Dollhouse, The Cabin in the Woods.

Uh, he wrote and directed the first and second Avengers movie.

Uh, and a fun fact that I saw is he actually was a writer on the original Toy Story, which is very random.

yeah that's great stuff we did that on the pot on the vinyl show we did we covered it it was good and then we're looking for a movie

One that we've watched the most is I like Dr. Horrible's sing-along blog.

So it's musical, too.

It's with Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion, Felicia Day.
