Dowagiac

Mr.

Vice President, I live in Dowagiac, Michigan.

My family and I live directly across the street from a data center.

For years, we had been exposed to the constant noise from this company's daily operations.

Benton Harbor is traveling to Buchanan.

Buchanan really took it to Dowagiac last week.

That might have been the biggest surprise.

Not that they won, but how they won by score-wise.

Kalamazoo United moves to 8-0.

They beat the Rams 42-0.

Dowagiac loses to Jimtown 40-14.

Pawpaw over three errors 50-7.

Our Lady of Lake beat Grace Christian in three sets, and Michigan Lutheran edged River Valley three to one.

Boys soccer district winners included Lake Shore, which blanked Sturgis eight-nothing, and South Haven in an eight-nothing winner over Dowagiac.

Michigan Lutheran beat Coloma three-one, Berrien Springs edged Watervliet two to one, and New Buffalo defeated Bridgman two to one.

Tonight's soccer district action includes Paw Paw at Buchanan and Covert at Cassopolis at five, followed by Niles at Vicksburg at six o'clock.

I, I don't like politics.

Um, and you know, it, it just, I enjoy the weird stuff, and I'll in some way, shape, or form continue to try to produce a show, uh, whether it's just podcast or I've actually got- Um, very local to me, about 40 minutes north, back in 1964, there was a, a report in Dowagiac, Michigan, that was called the Dewey Lake Monster.

Um, and it was a, the summer of 1964, uh, it was w- it was widespread accounts of people witnessing this creature.

Um, when you boil it down to the descriptors that, uh, the witnesses saw, it is very much in line with what a Bigfoot would be.

The DNR says the deadline to be recognized as a tree city, tree line, or tree campus is December 31st.

In addition to South Haven, other tree cities in southwest Michigan include Three Oaks, Grand Beach, Michiana, Buchanan, and Dowagiac.

The Arbor Day Foundation says the Tree Cities program results in more than one million trees planted each year.

And independent pharmacy owners around Michigan are sounding the alarm, saying they're being squeezed out of an increasingly shrinking health care landscape in the state.

say right now they're probably fairly securely in, but you know who isn't fairly securely in, in fact, is on the outside looking in, is the team they have to play this week, and that's Tawachek.

And Dowagiac's sitting at 34th.

They'd love a win over Buchanan for multiple reasons.

It's a conference rival.

They beat Buchanan last year, and that's what got Dowagiac into the playoffs last year.

So that's a huge game tonight.

And then Niles, here's a team just north of the state line that has had a ton of success in recent years under Scott Shaw.
