And what variables would you change? For example, if you would risk the jail time for the $3 million, what amount of guaranteed payoff would make you change your mind, right? So if you would not take the $100,000 and instead you would play for the $3 million, would you take $500,000 to not play? Daniel, would you take a million to not play Daniel? Like, what is your price? These kinds of hypothetical questions, I think, are very revealing into what we value and maybe also how we see ourselves today.

Right? Like, would you think that you have a better chance than maybe you actually would have against Daniel? Don't forget, when Daniel was playing heads up against Doug Polk, he was living, breathing, sleeping, heads up, no limit, deep stack, hold him, because he was trying his best to do well against one of the best.

So I know that his skill level in that format is way higher than mine.

Now, if you change it to like 30 or 40 big blinds instead of 200, sure, maybe I have a better chance.

So, okay, so early on, I remember, like, the first year after college, I would come home from work, um, one of the main things I would, I, I watched all these Doug Polk videos.

Like, that was when he was pumping out all, all sorts of content.

I watched every single one.

Do you want to bet more than $3K into $6,700 with two opponents? I don't know.

Doug Polk could tell you.

It seemed like a good amount for me.

I found out about Kill Tony because of Doug Polk's little-

Um, you know, and I mean, like WPTGold, you know, they, uh, when they ...

Now because of Doug P- Doug Polk was like, "This is, this is, this is insane." Um, but like when they, their original rake chart was like, was like at, at the lower and mid stakes it was like five, like capped at five big blinds a hand or something.

It was like, it was just like astronomical.

It was, it was, it was really insane.

I wanna say this about Doug Polk.

And last month, he launched Alligator Blood, a social network and directory for poker, which has been backed by Phil Hellmuth, Doug Polk, Alan Keating, Michael Mizrachi, among others.

You know, it's your version of a coffee shop.

Yeah, exactly.

Because I'm in Austin and I, you know, I met you guys about two years ago, whenever it was the GG bought world series and, and just kind of like sitting there and watching the poker world level up and WPT bought upswing, you know, and sort of had been like friends with Doug and watching all Doug Polk's different businesses and poker and just as an entrepreneur sort of, you know, commiserating around the business part of it.

I was like, man, I was like, if I was ever going to build a business in poker, like what would it be? Just as like a, intellectual exercise and just started talking about it.

You know, I played on the lodge pretty recently.

I didn't look at one hand Doug Polk played, even though like we barely played against each other because it would just be the least valuable use of my time because I know he's going to more or less approximate GTO.

where some of the guys in my games are going to be doing anything but that.

I think it's tempting for a lot of live players out there to take this tip, pay more attention, and really focus in on showdowns and showdowns exclusively.
