Doug Nussmeier

That's not...

You're not understanding how I'm looking at it if I'm Doug Nussmeier, Scott Tolzien, and Kellen Moore.

How, how the fuck are we gonna do anything if every time we go out there we gotta play catch-up? How the fuck is Tyler gonna feel knowing your first drive on national TV, 20 years since the dawn coming, I gotta play catch-up already.

Already.

You paid him.

So like I said, the coach in me knows what I'm gonna do, but I am not Kellen Moore.

I'm not Doug Nussmeier.

I'm not Scott Linehan.

Joshua Wood had the best weekend.

He's the best Idaho quarterback since Doug Nussmeier, who, wait for it, is the New Orleans Saints' offensive coordinator.

Joshua Wood, you had the best weekend.

Oh, you're kidding me.

How about this, Ron? I've got a couple of famous Idaho football alumni for you.

Doug Nussmeier, father of Garrett Nussmeier.

And then sportscaster, he calls games.

I'm a big fan of him.

And it's funny because you want to say, oh, it was a tale of two halves, but it really wasn't because you came out after halftime and turned the ball over for two straight possessions.

I talked to Doug about that today, Doug Nussmeier, and I think one of the more impressive things that Tyler has done to this point in his career is, is you're talking about a guy, and I know people make a big deal about the age.

He's a young quarterback just by every definition of the term, like how many games has he played, and he started, I want to say, 11 games in his career.

To watch a young quarterback go through what he did to start that second half, you're already down 7-0 at halftime.

And if I'm thinking about it...

I'm sure at one point it's crossed the mind of a Kellen Moore, of a Doug Nussmeier, you know, of the guys in that room.

So I'm curious to see how they will be used.

Will they be on the field at the same time? What's the rotation going to be? You expect HN to get more touches than AK, but what kind of touches will AK get? Where does Kendra Miller fit in? Maybe if you're third and goal.
