So what could Iran do to retaliate on this for these strikes?

Well, they can continue to go after their neighbors, going after specifically U.S. bases in the region, in Bahrain or Kuwait.

I mean, that's what we saw them do overnight.

I mean, generally, those attacks are pretty easily fended off.

But nevertheless, it's troubling for those countries in the region.

They can also intensify their attacks on shipping in the Strait and effectively shut that shipping down again.

I mean, that's something that the U.S. has really been going after are some of the sites that are used to launch the drones and so forth that are used to go after those ships and also going after some of those small fast boats that the Revolutionary Guard uses to harass ships.

Now at the same time that the president may have known last night that this happened, you know, he also indicated that I think he said two to three days again, being a possible timeframe to reach a deal.

Now, you know, we've heard again and again, how close we are to a deal last week.

The president indicated that we might have something in the weekend if not later.

And then now we hear a, Last night, it was two to three days.

So, boy, all bets are off.
