Dorsey Burnette

Of course, then later on you find out about Willie Dixon, you know, and then after when you could go and see all the, many, many years later, I could see videos of him playing and him slapping and everything.

So, and I realized where they got it from, you know, what they were, that they were just trying to, copy rhythm and blues you know but so but i was still influenced by uh dorsey burnett and and bill black the way they slapped on rockabilly for sure but sometimes i frustrate people because um there's certain i've just never been one of those kind of uh musicians that got way into knowing about a whole bunch of other players and stuff.

It seems weird to say, but I mean, it had to get in there.

I love the police.
