You got three friends on the ballot here, all former members of Congress.

Karen Bass, I used to sit with her regularly talking about our futures.

And when she was chair of the Congressional Black Caucus, we had some significant successes.

And, you know, every time I think about Doris Matsui, She is just one of the sweetest spirits I've ever dealt with.

I knew her husband who held the office before she did, and he was the Triple C chair.

So that, I think, is kind of debatable.

Here's exactly what Congress asked OpenAI, right? They asked them after the Hugging Face incident occurred, did anything else like this happen? So this was 31 House Democrats led by Greg Cesar and Doris Matsui.

They wrote a letter to Sam Altman on August 10th with questions about Hugging Face.

One of the questions that I think was so important was, Do you believe that you have now identified every unauthorized action these models took during this and other evaluations? If not, what prevents a complete accounting and on what basis do you assure that no comparable incident remains undiscovered? So that's where they basically say, like, do you know everything? Have you found every incident? They also say, give us the list, right? So they say, quote, in the past year, how many times did an internally deployed model or agent take an action outside its authorized boundary? like a sandbox, accessing a system it was not granted access to, granting credentials it was not issued, evading or disabling monitoring, or modifying its own permissions.

In June, one of OpenAI's own agents escaped its own safety test sandbox, reached the open internet, and it hacked into a company called Hugging Face.

In August, two members of Congress, Greg Casar of Texas and Doris Matsui of California, sent OpenAI more than 20 questions and a deadline.

On September the second, OpenAI wrote back saying its engineers are building automated shutdown capabilities.

What it did not do is hand over the incident log Casar actually asked for.

It means that when someone gets on a debate stage and they're sitting next to their opponent who's 30 years younger, that person can say, you did take corporate money.

This happened just a couple days ago with Mai Vang and Doris Matsui are running in California.

Mai Vang's running against Doris, who's like 80 and has been in Congress for a long time, taking a bunch of corporate money.

And Doris literally said, like, I don't even know what my donors are.
