We train down there at Doonside and seeing all the Mount Jort families and, you know, I work in Mount Jort with Contaf and seeing all the families and some of me boys from the program that are down there and the girls that go to the school as well.

They love it, mate.

So, yeah.

Just to start, I've got a little update here from New South Wales Fire and Rescue.

About 20 minutes ago, a house fire on Cygnus Close, Doonside, was reported.

Seven fire trucks... are on their way or in attendance.

The house is currently alight, but firefighters are working to make sure it doesn't spread to neighbouring properties.

There's no reports of injuries, thankfully.

It is a residential house.

The street is closed off, so that's Cygnus Close Doonside.

There'll be a bit of disruption for local street traffic.

At around that same time, police raided another house in Doonside, roughly three kilometers away, where they arrested Les Murphy.

Inside Murphy's Holden station wagon, investigators discovered the mag wheels and sheepskin covers that had been removed from that stolen vehicle.

Murphy admitted his involvement in the theft, car theft again.

Each man admitted at least some involvement and all agreed that John Travers had cut Anita Cobby's throat.

Through those statements, the jury was forced to confront what happened on that Sunday evening.

That afternoon, John Travers and the others had gathered at the Doonside Hotel.

They drank heavily, and by nightfall, the group piled into a stolen car, one that Travers had taken about a week earlier.
