Doogie Howser, M.D.

I thought I was a computer genius.

I thought I was like an undiscovered Doogie Howser of programming.

Okay, that's how high I was on my own, my ego at the time.

But like, that was enough of a spark to just realize like, oh, if I can make it do that, I wonder what else it could do.

Then, you know, you can have the smartest brain in the world.

Like imagine you're like Doogie Howser, but you're like, I think, yeah, you're in the dark.

Well, good luck.

You know, it doesn't matter that you're a genius.

Yes.

Doogie Howser.

Me and him are that close.

I call him NPH.

Yeah, John Gruden a little bit.

Doogie Howser.

I don't know about that one.

I'm going to stick with

Don't sell yourself short.

You had to have had someone play Frank Capra.

By the way, long, long road from Doogie Howser when Max Casella is playing Frank Capra.

You had people that people do remember, Louis B. Mayer and Shooter McGavin played Lionel Barrymore.

And of course, Ginger Rogers.

I do think that that dad had felt very close to Frank Capra and how the film portrays his feelings toward Capra were real.

It's certainly a long trip from Doogie Howser to playing Frank Capra.

It was Max

Casella who played him, but almost unrecognizable and another, so many perfect performances in this film.
