Donta Simpson

That was the one – actually, we watched their D-line this week, too.

Donta Simpson, who's a Miami transfer that barely played at Miami a season ago and now has 17 quarterback pressures, six sacks, is an impact player on their defensive line.

And this is an interesting little stretch for Missouri.

Three of the next four games, So they got Ole Miss this week and then Arkansas in two weeks.

I'm talking about somebody like Robert Woodyard at linebacker coming over from Auburn.

Somebody like Donta Simpson coming over from Miami, a freshman defensive tackle last year that played sparingly, and has now been one of the most effective pass rushers at DT in the country.

I think Mi- I think Missouri, like, might be okay with the way that Damon Wilson trade went for them this off-season, even though obviously trades don't exist.

[laughs]

Jason Dowell has been very good since the Troy game.

And Donta Simpson, who we got nervous because in camp he just wasn't playing.

He wasn't practicing with the team.

Depth charts come out.

He, and, and he did a great job in the secondary.

How about the entire defense? You know, Sterling Webb, Jason Dowell, Marquise Grazio, Donta Simpson on the interior.

You held the guy that l- again, again, atop of the Heisman leaderboards, 12 carries, 13 yards, and he did have, uh, he did have a 12-yard run.

So one, one, 11 carries went for one yard.
