Donquixote Doflamingo

Think about his major arc-defining battles in the new world.

Doflamingo, Cracker, Katakuri.

None of these supreme commanders were defeated by Gear Third.

And there is a very specific mechanical reason for this, right? Haki.

You're telling me that after all this talk of biological engineering, his walking around state is mathematically superior to his primary transformations? He doesn't beat the main villains in base form.

Oh.

He didn't beat Doflamingo in base.

He didn't beat Katakuri in base.

So one, when you said the whole Zoro and Luffy thing with, you know, Zoro took on Luffy's pain and stuff like that, right? I was rethinking of like certain things that what Oda even said, and again, the circumstances.

When Luffy was fighting Kat, and when Luffy, um, pretty much when Luffy was fighting Kat and Luffy almost gassed out, right? Against, um, fighting Kat, but he gassed out and was so weak that he couldn't fight, um, Doflamingo.

What, again, you could say this is Kat by Oda, fine, but we just know th- this did happen, that Luffy let hisself, his guard down because he saw people were going to protect him, people were gonna protect him and look out for him.

When Luffy was legit by himself on his own, when he had nobody to protect him, Luffy muscled up all the shit he could and was running.

He passed out both times.

He gassed out his Gear Four against Doflamingo and Kat, but Luffy was running against Kat, where Luffy wasn't running against Doflamingo.

And people even asked Oda that, "Yo, what's up? We saw at one panel previously he did this, in the later panel we see him do this." Then Oda said, "Oh, he was relying on that." So just, you could say the same thing.

Zoro, like, because we, I saw other times, Marineford War, Luffy was at his weakest Marineford War.

... during the fight with D- Don Flamingo about it.

You mean Gear 4?

Wasn't it Gear 3 with, uh, um-

But he hasn't hit that like spot where I'm like, man, he's such a good, clever villain.

Absolutely, like, would use him as a mop.

We're talking about somebody that got beat by Gear 2 Luffy.

He's clashing with Mihawk, Doflamingo, cutting Akainu in half, creating tornadoes, and he's saving Ace.

So I don't wanna hear anything about if they're fighting, then they're equals or near each other, because Crocodile ain't near any of those people, in my opinion.

Okay, Marine Ford isn't a sequence of ranked duels, all right? It's a war with interruptions and limited engagements that don't subscribe to the power scaling that everybody's used to.

W- w- w- w- when he finally e- escaped, he went to a cooking ship and still cooked there.

When the V- Red Shoes Pirates or, or the, uh, Zeph's Pirates, I forget exactly like what they were called, w- when they invaded and threatened to kill Sanji, he said the exact same thing that Doflamingo did when he was tied up on the wall, and he said, "You will not kill me here.

I will not die here," because he still had things that he wanted to do.

I don't know if I perceived that.

And I was like, I don't know if he's going to do, because you know how like Don Flamingo awakened his devil fruit?

Yeah.

Do you think Kaido's going to, oh, I think Kaido's going to awaken his devil fruit.
